Syntactic Foam Blocks

SynFoam Products

SynFoam HP- HP grade syntactic foam is typically used for buoyancy in both manned and unmanned vehicles. HP grade provides low weight with high compressive strengths and is available in densities ranging from 20 pcf to 42 pcf.

SynFoam DW- DW grade syntactic foam provides ultra high strength to density ratios and is used in deep sea water applications. DW densitites range between 30 pcf and 40 pcf and can be used in unmanned operations at depths as low as 38,000 feet.

SynFoam SG- SG grade SynFoam is a two component pourable syntactic foam providing moderate strength and weight reduction that can be used to mold complex parts. SG is available as low as 35 pcf density.

SynFoam CG- CG grade SynFoam is available as precast shapes of various sizes for use in the tooling industry and wherever low cost weight reduction is required. SynFoam CG densities range from 37 to 42 PCF.

SynFoam PU- A new class of closed cell polyurethane based syntactics offering toughness and energy absorbing properties at a light weight.

SynFoam HT- HT grade syntactic foam is used where lowest density is required for demanding temperature applications.

Syntactic Foam Blocks SynFoam AI- AI syntactic foam was developed for Naval applications conforming to drawing number 5819079 and provides excellent strength and high temperature property retention.

SynFoam UL- UL grade syntactic foam is designed for applications where moderate strength and very low density is required for improved buoyancy. SynFoam UL density ranges from 10 to 20 pcf.
