Uncured, Castable Syntactic Foam for Everyday Applications
Synfoam SG is a cost effective castable syntactic foam providing low density and moderate strength.
It is suitable for numerous marine and aerospace applications. Synfoam SG is shipped as 2 components which,
when mixed together, can be either packed in place or poured into complex molds.
Due to its room temperature cure, Synfoam SG is ideal for field repair and to eliminate coefficient of
thermal expansion (CTE) problems that will arise with elevated temperature cures of
syntactic foam. Synfoam SG exhibits extremely low shrinkage and offers high adhesion to most substrates.
Cure is achieved within 24 hours and full properties will be realized after 7 days at room temperature.
Densities are customized to the users specifications.
